HEIRU builds on a long tradition of cable and wire production, with roots in Vienna. Founded in 1948 as HEIRU Antennenbau, our name has stood for quality and reliability for decades. With the opening of the HEIRU plant in Winden in 1965, the foundation for our cable production was established.
In 2003, another milestone was reached with the founding of HEIRU CZ s.r.o. in the Czech Republic. The goal was to strengthen competitiveness and expand production capacities. The relocation of production facilities between 2003 and 2004 took place during ongoing operations, without interruption for our customers. This demonstrates what HEIRU builds on: precision, reliable planning, and a responsible approach to our customers.
Today, we are a reliable partner for electrical wholesalers, electricians, and industrial customers throughout Europe. We manufacture cables and wires, including customized solutions tailored to specific customer requirements, with a clear focus on quality, flexibility, and delivery reliability.
As an ISO 9001 certified company (HEIRU CZ since June 10, 2013), we operate according to clearly defined quality standards, from material selection to delivery.
Our History
Rudolf Heinz founds HEIRU Antennenbau in Vienna. From the very beginning, HEIRU has been characterized by technical expertise, practical solutions, and long-term reliability.
Ceremonial opening of the HEIRU plant in Winden am See – the foundation for cable production was laid and a stable basis for further growth was created.
Expansion into the Czech Republic with the establishment of HEIRU CZ s.r.o. The aim was to strengthen competitiveness and expand production capacities.
Relocation of production during ongoing operations – without interruption for customers.
Generational change in management: the second generation, Andrea Heinz and Ing. Rudolf Heinz, took over the leadership. The Austrian company was renamed HEIRU A. & R. Heinz GmbH.
HEIRU CZ works closely with Czech manufacturing companies and wholesalers. HEIRU expands its export markets to Slovakia, Italy, Croatia, Hungary, and Germany.
The company is led by the third generation – Erika Franziska Heinz. HEIRU combines long-standing tradition with a modern production mindset.
